If you've been paying attention, you know that your house is full of instruments. Some serve to entertain, some to demonstrate status, some to inform. Your smoke detector is a very special instrument that only plays one song, and only plays it when your house is smoking. Don't forget, at the heart of every smoke detector is a chip that triggers when it detects carbon monozide. It just translates the chance that your home is on fire into music.

As true musicians, we never pass up the opportunity to turn concepts into music. But the shiteasters are never ones to settle, so we took 2 dozen smoke detector hearts and put them in an epic instrument array. When we swing this vile choir over an open flame, each voice kicks in and out as it pleases. The result is a chorus of the burning millions.

	We adapted some old phototheramin circuits to create 24 carbon monoxide detecting theramins. Mesh protects the ciruits from stray ash and other debris
